“Wasted time has left me hollow
When you look inside
All you find is us
I'm not here,
I'm still missing.”
Anonymous music collective Porcelain step out of the shadows to use poignant new single Hollow to shine a light on the UKs missing people
Porcelain are an anonymous musical collective created as a counterpoint to society's obsession with celebrity culture. Faceless mannequins and androgynous dolls symbolise their wish not to be defined by labels.
Released on November 13th their new single ‘Hollow’ is a beautifully, evocative piece of dark pop music with a heartfelt message about loss.
While this time of year is typically associated with Christmas, family gatherings and togetherness, for many people it’s also a time of loss, isolation and uncertainty. Did you know someone is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK. That’s 100,000 adults and 76,000 children. Two percent will be missing for more than a week and some are never found.
Porcelain are using the release of ‘Hollow’ to raise awareness of this problem and the work done by missingpeople.org.uk, the only charity dedicated to reuniting missing people with their families.
We will be using the hash tag #Every90seconds in promoted posts that will raise awareness and will invite the watcher to “Join the search” by visiting www.missingpeople.org.uk/find
